Wulfric And His Team Need To Chill Out - Part 44

I walk into Snowbelle Gym.

It looks almost like what would happen if you tossed Tetris into an ice box for a few weeks and let the freezer burn set into it's blocky bones.

This is the place that Waxworth was made for, it is faster than most here, but nothing should take more than one Flamethrower.

Trainers go down left and right, as I leave their precious little teamates in drippy puddles.

I'm face to face with the leader himself. Wulfric.

I'm not even going to tease you, my faithful readers, let's get to it.

He first sends out an Abomasnow, much like my own and it casts Snow Warning right off the bat.

No worries. I send out Waxworth.

Flamethrower.

Probably the easiest fight so far.

Second one is an Avalugg.

Waxworth stays out.

Flamethrower.

Waxworth is taking pot shots from Snow Warning, but he ain't worried.

Wulfric, of course saves his best for last. 

He sends out Cryogonal. 

This thing is much faster than my Waxworth. It gets off a Confuse Ray. 

Waxworth is too confused to do anything, but light itself on fire and get hit with more hail. His health is starting to come down faster now...

Wulfric lets off an Ice Beam that would normally decimate something, if it wasn't a Fire-type, like Waxworth.

But Waxworth is no longer confused and uses Flamethrower.

And I will be the first to say I was surprised that it lived a hit, but even MORE surprised that I burned it.

The burn takes out the rest of Wulfric's HP.

Waxworth has just single-handedly wiped out the entire gym, with no help.

That is why Chandelure are one of my favorites.

Wulfric hands over the Iceberg Badge!

But that's not all... he also gives me a TM for Ice Beam.

Today is a good day and I don't want to ruin it.
