It's All About Noodles - Part 34

I feel like the majority of this challenge is me training and retraining.

It's understandable, but it does suck up a ton of time.

At least I have TV shows to catch up on... I'm looking at you Season 2 of Homeland!

 

Anyways so I train mostly in restaurant Le Yeah, mainly because the teams never change and always give the same things. I do head over to the Battle Chateau for about thirty minutes and get lucky with a few Audino trainers in there, those sped up the process oodles. 

Speaking of noodles... it's lunch time and I'm hungry lemme just warm up some of this...

Stuff is awesome, only instant noodles I eat.

After training for a long time, I like the way the team is starting to look so I head over to Route 16. 

New route, new Pokémon. 

I look up the Pokémon on this route, because honestly for the life of me I cannot remember. I see that there is a little bit of nothing, with a few other possible teamates that I would want. I see that I can get Murkrow, Skorupi, Klefki, and Floatzle all in the grass. All of which I wouldn't mind having. 

There is also something that I can fish out of the water with a 100% find rate, that isn't a stupid Luvdisc.

I decide that I want the one in the water so I go over and fish out a adorable...

I like these guys. They can evolve into two different Pokémon in the final stage, which gives me a nice choice. And it is also water! And not a Luvdisc! Even better.

Plus it's spiral looks like a noodle. 

I mean it IS its intestines showing through, but eh, still looks like delicious noodles. 

I ask a friend to name my newest member and he chooses the name... Epo.

Which is a shortened for of the word Erythropoietin, which as every knows is a glycoprotien hormone that helps with red blood cell production. Duh.

I go to the PokéCenter and switch out ShutUppyPuff for Epo, so he can start to get some training. 

As soon as I finish this and try to continue my journey into the yawning maw of Nuzlocke, I get a Holo-Clip and it is...

CALEM!

He says he wants a battle in front of the next gym. 

Before I go fight him I make my way to the city. 

On this short trip I run into Sina, Mr. Bonding and probably my all-time favorite person I have ever run into in this game.

A random lady gives me the TM for Flamethrower.

I immediately teach it to both Amy and Waxworth. 

But in the meantime it is time for a battle with Calem!

Calem has four Pokémon now, with his newest edition being a Jolteon. It's all pretty easy, with everything going down in one or two hits. Epo at this point has enough experience to evolve right after the battle. Calem sends out Absol. I send out Epo. I retreat Epo, right away to switch with my wall, Ham n Cheese. He gets hit and goes down about a third of the way. That's enough time to smack his Absol, but... Absol uses Slash and...

Critical hit.

Ham n Cheese goes down.

I put down my 3DS and walk out of my actual house.
