I wonder why they ever stopped naming towns after colors. I was curious as to why this town was named the one it was... and it is a mixture between the French word for dandelion and the word windmill. I would have named it something like... Alabaster Town. I mean its covered in snow so...
Anyways, Sycamore runs into me with one of his helpers and more or less commands me to find Xerneas... if I want to of course...
But since it is a legendary, I said in my rules that I can't use it. So it doesn't even matter if I catch it or not. Oh well.
Let's head onto a new Route shall well? The Frost Caverns! And with my new Litwick, it should help my team a lot.
I run to fight the first trainer inside the cavern, but... a Pokémon appears!
It's a....
...no....
Anything, but her... not a Jynx.
My absolute least favorite Pokémon.
I mean how many Pokémon are remodled because they think it was too racist.
They thought it resembled too much of black-face. Which I would say it does, but who cares, children wouldn't know any different. Plus we had Mr. Popo from Dragon Ball Z.
I'm actually considering not even catching this Pokémon. That's how much I don't like it. So I give myself one thing to do. I send out Ham n Cheese and use Toxic. I will try to catch it before Toxic kills it. If I can't well that answers my dilemma.
Jynx dies before I can catch it.
I threw like five Pokéballs at it. Trust me I tried.
According to the rules that means I cannot catch a Pokémon in this area.
I fight the first trainer I run into and she has a Doublade.
I can't use Ham n Cheese at all, since Poison, Fighting and Normal won't work on it.
I send out Schrodinger right away. And it gets hit by a critical hit and dies...
Well it wasn't quite working for me... so that wasn't a big deal. But still that's another Pokémon gone.
I take down Doublade with Master Chi. I fight the next set of trainers. A double battle with a Hariyama...
And a Grumpig, which is the evolved form of my Babe, which I still haven't even used.
I send out Urologist and Master Chi and... Urologist gets taken down with a critical hit...
He was loyal and had a nice moveset... and now he is dead...
But from the death of Urologist, comes the advancement of Litwick. It evolves into Lampent.
And since Lampent only learns two moves I like at later levels (one which can be learned from a TM) and the other is not necessarily something I'll use... I evolve it right away into Chandelure.
And as of this evolution it already has higher Special Attack than Urologist did. But I'll still miss Urologist...
I'll miss him forever.
And I guess I'll miss Schrodinger too...
